What is Bridggez?
Bridggez is a free platform that connects homeowners with tradesmen in their city to undertake their home projects. Homeowners are able to view the tradesperson ratings by other homeowners, see if they are licensed or have reference all before engaging with them.

How do I use Bridggez?
To use Bridggez all you need to do is to register by clicking on post a gig or click the signup button at the top of the page.

Who is a Patron?
A patron is anyone on the Bridggez platform who would like to post a gig.

What is a gig?
A gig is any task that you would like to have done by someone.

Is there a fee for using Bridggez?
There is no fee for persons who are registered as a patron on the platform.

Can I use the same email to register as a tradesperson and a patron on the Bridggez's Platform?
No you cannot use the same email as the email can only be connected to one profile.

Can I register as a Patron and a tradesperson?
Yes you will be able to be registered as a patron and a tradesperson on the platform. However you will have to use 2 different email address as only one profile can be assigned to an email.

Are the tradesperson employees or private contractors of Bridggez?
No, the trade persons are neither employees nor private contractors of Bridggez. Bridggez is just a platform that helps you to have different options of who to hire for your project.

How do I get connected with a tradesperson?
There are two ways to get connected with a tradesperson. One way is to post your gig and then suitable tradespersons will apply to the gig. You then select the one that would be ideal for your project. The other way is to go to a list of tradespeople and offer that person the job directly.

How do I hire a tradesperson who has applied for my gig?
Once you post a gig, Bridggez will send you an email notifying you when a person has applied . In the email will be a button for you to accept or defer the application.

How do I communicate with the tradesperson if I need additional information?
When a tradesperson apply for your gig Bridggez will send an email with the person contact information.

How do I pay a person I hired?
Before the gig is started you would have agreed on a rate with the tradesperson. Once the job is completed then you are responsible to pay the tradesperson directly.

How do I know that a tradesperson is really licensed?
For all licensed tradespeople on the platform Bridggez has verified their credential. However you should always ask to have them send proof of their

What do I do if I am not satisfied with the job done?
If you are unsatisfied with a job then you will have to come to an agreement with the tradesperson. As Bridggez is just a platform to connect both parties.

How do I write a review for a tradesperson?
When a gig is complete the tradesperson will send you an email requesting you to mark the gig as complete. Once you mark the gig as complete you will be able to write your review.

Why am I unable to write a review for a tradesperson?
You are only able to write a review for a tradesperson who you hired through the Bridggez's platform and has marked that person's gig as complete.

What should I do if I feel harassed by someone on the Bridggez's platform?
If at anytime you feel uncomfortable with an interaction on the platform please send us an email immediately. Also screenshot the interaction that made you uncomfortable.
